The Daring to own your story TM Retreat both virtual and in person combine research based topics to build connection and insight while also offering experiences for further connection and sharing with the other women attending. Research from Dr. Brene Brown, Dr. Kristen Neff and others are incorporated into the retreat. The retreats are facilitated by licensed therapists who are blind / low vision. Summit Challenge Camp Join us for the Summit Challenge Camp August 26-30 at the beautiful National Ability Center, 1000 Ability Way, Park City, Utah. They have put together a beautiful camp for us! Here are a few details: If this will be your first time to The National Ability Center, the link is here to learn more about them: https://nationalabilitycenter.org/ The NAC has 10 rooms (each room for a Daring Sister and partner). available for us for a Summit Challenge Camp. (Wed/Thu/Fri nights) Four options: 1. Come to the camp and bring a guest (spouse / friend / to join in on the fun and be your pilot on the tandem) -- Bring your bike. 2. Come to the camp and bring a guest / and a bike will be provided for you and your partner. 3. Come to the camp and have a pilot at the NAC join you on the fun and a bike will be provided. 4. Come for just the Summit Challenge Ride and join us on Saturday, August 29th. We will have a link soon for you to share with friends and family to join us. For the actual cycling event there will be no charge for us and our pilots! (There is a charge for the friends / family that want to join in on our team. It is very reasonable for an amazing bike ride and will have those details to share on May 12th.) For our August 26-30 camp, for you and your guest, the cost will be $1,190. This includes four nights lodging in beautiful Park City, Utah at the National Ability Center; activities including: challenge course / goal ball / hiking / pickleball /yoga and cycling. This includes meals from Wednesday - Sunday morning (except two meals we will eat as a group outside the NAC and will pay on our own.).
